Sunil Bhatia
Sunil is Chairman and CEO of LTSave, Inc. Sunil brings his extensive experience in developing scalable and personalized investment advice to LTSave, which he founded to deliver high-quality and affordable investment services to individuals saving and investing for retirement.
Sunil is a pioneer in the development and delivery of investment advice via the internet. He has been associated with the industry from its inception, when he founded AssetPlanner, one of the first internet-based investment advisory platforms. AssetPlanner’s platform was regarded as one of the best advisory systems in the US as well as in Europe by independent research companies, and was ultimately acquired by Accenture (NYSE:ACN).
Prior to entering the investment advisory business, Sunil worked at Fidelity Investments. There he served on the management team of Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Inc. (Fidelity Advisor funds) as Vice President and CFO. He also worked in the management consulting practice of Price Waterhouse LLP.
He obtained his MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, Bloomington, and his B.Com. (Honors) from Hindu College, University of Delhi.
Teresa Epperson
Ms. Epperson is a founding Partner of Mercatus LLC, a private equity and strategy consulting firm focused on the retail financial services marketplace.
Prior to Mercatus, Ms. Epperson spent over eleven years in the financials services industry as both a consultant and senior manager at major financial services institutions. Ms. Epperson held leadership roles at FleetBoston Corporation, and Fidelity Investments.
In addition to her industry experience, Ms. Epperson has consulting experience at Gemini Consulting (Cap Gemini) and Mainspring, an Internet Strategy Consulting firm. At Mainspring, Ms. Epperson was a member of the start-up team and played leadership roles in product development, consulting and research delivery, and resource management.
Ms. Epperson received her Master’s degree from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business Administration and her undergraduate degree from Cornell University.
Matt Harris
Matt Harris is the co-founder and Managing General Partner of Village Ventures, an early stage venture capital firm with $150 million under management.
Harris began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company, Boston. In 1995, he signed on as an associate with Bain Capital. At Bain Capital, Harris’ most notable transactions included the $1.1 billion purchase and subsequent sale of a credit-reporting agency, and the $90 million purchase of a medical products distributor.
Harris left Bain Capital in 1997 to become the founding Managing Director of The Berkshires Capital Investors, a venture capital fund associated with Williams College. Under Harris’ leadership, BCI’s first fund of $5 million invested in 12 companies, with eight successful exits to date. The BCI organization, now a Village Ventures affiliate, has gone on to raise an additional $60 million.
Harris graduated from Williams College in 1994, and now lives in Williamstown, MA and New York, NY. He is active in the business community of Williamstown and Berkshire County, and in many civic organizations. Matt is a Trustee for the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, he is the President of the Board of the Williamstown Theatre Festival and he is a founding Board Member and Treasurer of Camp Starfish, a camp for troubled and disadvantaged youth outside Boston, MA. Matt also sits on the corporate boards of Bluetarp Financial, Swift Financial, Vico Software, and OnDeck Capital.
Robert B. Hedges, Jr.
Mr. Hedges is the Founder and Managing Partner of Mercatus LLC, a private equity and strategy consulting firm focused on the retail financial services marketplace.
Prior to Mercatus, Mr. Hedges spent more than twelve years in senior operating and leadership roles at Shawmut Bank, FleetBoston Corporation, and Fidelity investments. His responsibilities have included business strategy development, product management, distribution and sales management, and overall business unit performance for a broad set of retail business lines. Mr. Hedges also served as the Chairman of NYCE, the regional ATM network.
In addition to his senior operating roles, Mr. Hedges has more than ten years consulting experience at The MAC Group/Cap Gemini and First Manhattan Consulting Group. He has also authored numerous articles, and the book “BottomLine Banking” with former Bank One CEO, John McCoy.
Mr. Hedges received his Master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Sloan School of Management and his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College.
Guy L. Patton
Guy Patton is Chairman of the University of Oklahoma Foundation. He was formerly Executive Director of Fidelity Research InstituteSM, which is designed to advance knowledge of how proven investment theory and public policy can be put into practice to help Americans invest wisely to meet their financial needs.
Prior to this role, Guy was President of Fidelity Human Resources Services Company. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President and head of human resources and a member of the Fidelity Management Committee. Guy has also been responsible for all of Fidelity’s institutional retirement record keeping operation, and has been President of Fidelity Investments Tax-Exempt Services Company, which provides 403(b), 401(k) and 401(a) retirement savings plans to tax-exempt organizations.
Guy received a bachelor of arts degree in economics and a master’s degree, both from the University of Oklahoma. He has been a member of the board of trustees for numerous not-for-profit organizations, including Jobs For The Future and InRoads, and has served as President of the Board of Trustees for the Childhood Trust.

Howard M. Schwartz
Howard M. Schwartz is an independent strategic management consultant. For more than thirty-five years, Mr. Schwartz has been an advisor to the top executives of major financial institutions. He has worked for many years with the leadership of six of the top ten banks in the US.
Mr. Schwartz formally co-headed the financial services business of the MAC Group and was a Senior Vice President, founding officer and co-head of the financial services business of Gemini Consulting, which has evolved into CapGemini Ernst and Young. While at the MAC Group he also founded and directed the firm’s information technology strategy practice.
Mr. Schwartz is an advisory board member of CircleLending, an entrepreneurial facilitator and processor of loans between individuals.
He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University. He is a former MIT Sloan School-Ford Foundation Fellow in Latin America, where he worked for several years as an investment banker.
W. James Tozer Jr.
Mr. Tozer, a private venture investor and advisor to financial institutions, is president of Vectra Management Group, a real estate investment firm. He is a former Senior Vice President of Citibank/Citicorp, Senior Executive Vice President of Shearson Hayden Stone and of Marine Midland Bank, and President of Prudential-Bache Securities and Lincolnshire Management, a LBO firm. He was also one of the founding investors of LendingTree and served on its board prior to its acquisition by USA Interactive in 2003.
Mr. Tozer is a graduate of Trinity College and Harvard University.
